Since 2000 the municipality of Kavala and DIMOFELIA organise the International Festival “COSMOPOLIS” which lasts 5 days. It’s a multi-themed festival in which every year delegations from many countries of the world take part. Through the thematic units of music, dance, taste, cinema, plays, non-Governmental Organisations, street bazaar, PaidoCosmopolis and the presentation of the many faces of the participating countries’ culture, it combines knowledge with fun, offers valuable experiences and opportunities for all parties to get to know each others’ culture and it creates ambassadors of Greek hospitality and the Greek culture throughout the world.
